My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul PSALM 108-1 |

I was born and raised here in the San Joaquin valley in the early 60’s. My parents had come here from Oklahoma and Arkansas because of the work that was available in the fields. I started playing guitar when I was really young. I can remember my mother pushing me and supporting me in the music. She would take me every Tuesday to my guitar lessons in Visalia. I was your normal young boy. I wanted to play ball, catch frogs and chase butterflies, not play guitar. My mother would bribe me however by telling me that she would take me to eat fried shrimp at this little drive-in that I liked if I would go to my lesson. Thanks Mom.
As I grew into a young teenager I started actually singing and playing country music in some of the local bars and clubs. I had been introduced to country music through my parents. I played in several bands over the next few years. I loved playing and singing music.
In the mid 90’s I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I also made a career change starting my new career in law enforcement. It was during this time that I stopped playing music all together. After a couple of years I fell away from the Lord and went through a divorce. After going through the divorce I met a police Chaplin that eventually lead me back to Lord. When I remarried he performed the wedding ceremony. Thanks Ken. My wife, our two children and I started attending the Dinuba Nazarene Church. While at the church I was asked to start singing in the choir, the praise team and eventually I was asked to perform special music
I sang mainly contemporary Christian music.
I have since been lead back to the country music, only this time I am singing for the Lord. I have recently completed my first Country Gospel album featuring some good old favorites like, I’ll Fly Away, I Saw The Light, In the Garden and many more.
I want to take a moment to thank all of my family, friends, church family and golfing buddy’s for supporting me in this venture. I want to thank my band, Amazing Grace, for putting up with me during all of those nights of practice. Thanks guys! I want to thank David Langley for supporting me and believing in me in producing this album. To Lance and Ralph at Business Street, thanks for the photo’s and art work. Great job Guys.
A very special thank you to my wife, who is also my best friend, and my kids for all of the support they have given me. Thanks guys for allowing me to be away from home either practicing, performing or working in the studio. But most importantly I want to thank God for the gift He has given me, the gift of music. Thank you Father for all the blessings You have given me and my family.
