"Johnny Mac"

I have played bass guitar in many rock –n-roll and country bands in a variety of places over the last 40 years. During that time I met a lot of people and experienced a lot of different things.
The difference between then and now is the feeling of fulfillment, peace, and the desire to give back. This difference in me can only be credited to being saved. When I turned my life around and turned my talents over to our Savior and his will, I received a peace within and a total sense of fulfillment.
I pray that the words and music of our songs reach out and touch you wherever you are in life in a special way.

My vocal career actually started in the back seat of a 1951 Chevy while traveling back and forth to church with my parents singing those old gospel favorites like "Amazing Grace" and the "Old Rugged Cross" . My dad taught me a few chords on the guitar at an early age, followed by a couple years of lessons from Miss Star in Fresno, CA. I started playing guitar and singing in a band as a teenager in the early 60's. Through the years I played in many high school and rock & roll bands. While sailing in the South China Seas for Uncle Sam's Navy I met up with a guy named Suds who showed me a couple of finger style patterns that changed my life as far as playing guitar. My first major event was playing for a bunch of swabs at "The Crazy Horse Saloon" in Hong Kong while on R & R.
I played in a two man group "Talk of the Town" for a few years in the mid 70's, moved onto a country band called "Timberline through the 80's. WAA HOO!!! we played in clubs all over the valley for over 10 years, including a week in Las Vegas. I have even been back stage at the "Grand Ol' Opre".
I met my wife shortly after I got out of the Navy. My good buddy John and I were out and about, his sister Cindy washed my VW Beatle, I married her and we have been together for the last 36 years. We have 2 sons and 1 daughter. I have been a poultry farmer all my life and for the last 18 years I have been growing chickens. Consequently the nick name "CHICKEN MAN" has stuck.
Johnny Mac our base player and I have known each other and played together on several occasions over the years. Last year he called me asking if I would be interested in playing and helping he and some other guys get together a gospel band. Over a year later, Ronnie, John, Tim & "The Chicken Man" are now, I like to say "Those Amazing Grace Guys" and it is by his grace that we are able to play some great inspirational music. It's a "God Thing" and when we get together and the spirit moves LOOK OUT! T.A.G.G. – “Those Amazing Grace Guys

Tim Bowden
"Timmy Boy"

Hi! My name is Tim Bowden. I have made a lot of wrong turns in my life; ending in a lot of things I’m not very proud of including fighting, drugs and some jail time. About twelve years ago after taking another major detour, I decided to give rehab a try. During that time I was introduced to and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and life.
Soon after becoming a Christian, I completed my rehab program, got married, and started a family. I can honestly say that the road I am on now is not always easy, but since God has been at the wheel I have been driving in the right direction. My wife and I now have 1 son and 2 daughters, which I am very proud of! Having God in my life is honestly the difference between night and day. As they say with God all things are possible.
I have been a hard rock drummer for as long as I can remember. So deciding that I would play the drums for God no matter what style of music it was, was a huge step of faith for me. When I finally made up my mind, I figured if God was in it so was I. I began to play music for our praise team at church.
Now I’m playing for God with some fellows I really enjoy being around. God is great and so is my life.
